Photo Of The Day: Nigeria’s First Couple Versus America’s First Couple

First of, let me use this opportunity to welcome Nigeria’s first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan back to the country after a long and much deserved rest abroad. I assume she is still resting because since her return, she has kept a relatively low profile – away from public glare.
The first lady was ushered into the country amidst pomp, celebration and thanks giving. What however caught my interest is the hug from president Jonathan to his wife as she alighted from her car at the villa – was he shy or is it part of protocol?

Now compare the image above of Barack and Michelle Obama of the United States (L) to Nigeria’s Goodluck and Patience Jonathan (R), which one is more romantic? Or maybe it’s a tale of two different presidents in different climes after all. What do you think?
