Actor John Dumelo Found In Local Joint Eating Traditional Meal

Actor proves there's nothing wrong enjoying a delicious traditional meal in a simple neighborhood even as a superstar

Ghanaian superstar John Dumelo is spotted eating the famous Kenkey traditional meal in a local joint in Jamestown, Accra, Friday afternoon.

The actor posted a photo of him licking his fingers and enjoying a well-cooked kenkey dish while rocking simple clean white t-shirt and a pair of knee-length jeans at a rural-looking neighborhood.

He captioned his picture:

'Kenkey....a local dish prepared mostly in the Ga community in Ghana. Making kenkey involves letting the maize ferment before cooking. Therefore, preparation takes a few days in order to let the dough ferment.'

'After fermentation, the kenkey is partially cooked, wrapped corn husks, and steamed. Can be eaten with Stew, pepper or even soup. #tourismisfun #madeinGhana #jmelo #melomoment'
