DJ ‘Otedola’ Cuppy, Determined To Achieve Success Without Her Father’s Name

She might be talented but the name of her dad would always hunt her.

Female celebrity DJ, DJ Cuppy who interns at Roc Nation in New York, is presently at the inauguration ceremony of President Muhammadu Buhari at Eagle Square in Abuja.

Her real names are Florence Otedola and she shared a photo of her pass to the ceremony.

Surprisingly she covered her birth names on the pass as she has constantly spoken about how she does not try to live off her father’s wealth.

“I grew up knowing there is a value to money, and hard work is very important, which is clear with what i am doing with my own life as well. I think nothing is deserved, things are earned” 

said DJ Cuppy who is undergoing her Masters at the New York University.

She made this statement in a podcast interview hosted by Charlamagne tha God, and Andrew Schulz.
