SKIIBI DEATH RUMOURS

We totally understand the need to stay relevant in the music industry, we know it’s not so easy trying to compete with the multitude of talents out there. It is even worse when you are a rising artiste but really did you have to joke with death to grab our attention? Like common! It was a sad news to hear of the death of Five Star Music act Skiibi but even more shocking when we heard it was just a publicity stunt. Don’t blame the fans when they have trust issues.

TOKE MAKINWA AND MAJE AYIDA BEAKUP

Popular vlogger Toke Makinwa and her fitness instructor husband Maje Ayida might have kissed and settled the differences between them but it doesn’t mean we weren’t all shocked when we heard that their match which seemed to be made in heaven wasn’t so perfect. Maje scored a goal but it was an away match and Toke wasn’t so pleased with that. Following Maje impregnating his ex-girlfriend, media personality Toke moved out of their matrimonial home and they remained separated for a number if months before making up again. We are glad that ended well.

BETWEEN CHARLES NOVIA, GENEVEIVE NNAJI AND OMOTOLA JALADE EKEINDE

The entertainment industry is filled with rivalry and we all know Nollywood biggest rivals are Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. There has been the issue of who is the bigger star of the two since time immemorial and outspoken film producer Charles Novia decided to settle the score once and for all when he rated Omotola the better actress of the two. While Genevieve did not react to his criticism of her acting, fans had mixed reactions with the rating and the subject was much talked about. Interestingly, Charles Novia recently released his top five actresses of 2015 and ranked Genevieve in fourth place for her role in her first self-produced movie “Road To Yesterday.”

SEAN TIZZLE’S RATING OF HELLO

Hello Mr. Sean Tizze? Maybe you should have thought twice before saying Adele had a weak version of her own song. Nigerians literally tore Sean Tizzle into shreds when he said that Omawumi did a better job with her cover of international singer Adele’s record setting song “Hello.” Not only did his bleaching come into focus during the bashing, but he was dragged to the gutters in every way possible. One thing Sean Tizzle must have learned from that episode is that before you say something controversial, be ready for the heat that follows.

2SHOTZ WIFE BATTERY

When former Big Brother Africa contestant, Beverly Osu accused her ex-boyfriend, 2Shotz of domestic abuse back in 2013, his wife Precious was quick to defend him so it came as a huge shock when Precious accused the rapper of the same thing in 2015. Karma? We were all left stunned when Precious washed the dirty laundry of their marriage in public saying she footed the bills of their marriage, breadwinning fell on her and he hit as well as abused her constantly.
