Omotola Jalade, Toolz and Tiwa Savage Make List of Africa’s Top Fierce Women in Entertainment

Africa.com recently compiled its list of top fierce women in the entertainment industry in Africa, and Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage, Toolz and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde were among the selected few named on the list. Yesterday, Omotola took to Instagram to share the news to her followers.



According to the website, the women on the list were selected based on how they had caught the attention of the world by showcasing Africa through their movies, stories and music and one can say these entertainement divas indeed deserve to be on the list.

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is no doubt one of the most successful actresses in Nollywood with about 300 films under her belt.

In 2013, she was named as one of the ‘Top 100 Influential People in the World’ by TIME Magazine and has been honoured both home and abroad.

Tolu ‘Toolz’ Oniru is one of the top OAPs in Nigeria today and outside of her radio work, she also contributes to the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 show and twice served as a judge for the Channel O Music Video Awards.

Apart from her outstanding vocal abilities, Mavin Records’ Tiwa Savage has worked with big names in the American music scene such as Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan and Kelly Clarkson.
