Power couple Jay Z, Beyonce set to drop joint album

Rapper Jay Z and wife singer Beyonce are set to release a joint album according to a couple of Twitter handles.



Beyonce and Jay Z are slated to be getting back into the studio together after months of rumors surrounding a joint album between them which may not seem too far-fetched since their ‘On The Run’ tour brought in millions for them back in 2014.

According to a report by Page Six, the effort is slated to drop as a TIDAL exclusive “very soon.” The couple are yet to make an official confirmation, however in February of this year, producer Detail—who worked with Jay and Bey on ‘Drunk in Love’—revealed that the project was being crafted. “I’m working with a couple of new projects that I don’t want to unveil, and then me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year,” he said. “When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think ‘album.’ You should already know.”

A Beyonce fan site seemed to prove that the duo was heading to do a full project together when it tweeted,

Considering the number of rumours surrounding the music couple -such as the speculated infidelity and potential divorce of the couple suggested by Beyonce’s ” Lemonade” project ; mixed feelings have greeted the development with some fans taking the news of a collaborative album between the pair with a pinch of salt, while others apparently believe it’s going to happen but with different expectations and thoughts:
