Breaking: Popular Nollywood Actor, Muna Obiekwe Dies

It has been reported that popular Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe has died away after a battle with Kidney failure.

It was gathered that the actor passed away this Sunday afternoon January 18, 2015 in a hospital in Festac, Lagos.

The Nollywood Actor had been battling with kidney disease for a long time which he reportedly kept secret from his colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

His condition deteriorated in recent times, which eventually led to his death.

A reliable source said Obiekwe was rushed to the hospital on Sunday morning after he was found vomiting at home.

Unfortunately he lost the battle and passed away in the hospital.

This is a very sad loss for Nollywood. May his soul rest in peace.

Meanwhile, an interesting twist has come up as a twitter handle, @MunaObiekwe has come out to deny the death reports.

‘WTF! How can someone joke with an issue of death, pls o everyone I’m alive and well by His grace..Don’t know where they got it From’ – The supposed Muna tweeted.

Popular Celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, through her blog has countered the twitter handle, saying that the twitter account is fake, and does not in any way relate to the actor. She further stated that Muna is dead.
