The photo which was reportedly taken in the sect’s notorious hideout, Sambisa Forest, was retrieved by online news platform, The Cable.

Shekau has been reported dead three times before but this recent picture comes after a five-month silence on his part leading to the conclusion that he might finally have been executed.
